If you are interested in archaeology / prehistory this site is just right for you. Situated between Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki (More into the mountainous region of Chalkidiki called the Katsikas Mountains) the Petralona cave is about 30 minutes from Agia Triada by car.

Close by there is also a restaurant called Perek which is a great place to have that special holiday meal whilst taking in the breath taking view of Mount Olympus.
